Modisoft, Inc. provides certain software, products, and services to retail locations, including point of sale systems (“Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how Modisoft collects, uses, discloses, transfers, stores, retains, or otherwise processes your personal information as a user of the Services.

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to personally identifiable information collected by and through the Services (“Personal Information”), and it is intended to notify you of the following:

Modisoft reserves the right to update and modify this Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice, and such changes become effective on the date of issuance, as referenced above. Modisoft may share your Personal Information with third parties outside of its organization (i) as is necessary to provide the Services and process your data, (ii) as set forth in the Terms and Conditions and/or this Privacy Policy, (iii) for purposes of interest-based advertising or “targeted advertising,” or (iv) as you have otherwise authorized. Modisoft may also use information not linked to any individual to provide analytics, improve services, and issue promotions, among other uses.

Scope of Services, Children’s Data

The Services are intended only for individuals in United States who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. Modisoft is committed to protecting the privacy of children and does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, do not provide us any Personal Information. Your parent or guardian must consent to your use of the Services.


Modisoft has implemented administrative, technical, and physical security controls that are designed to safeguard your Personal Information. However, while Modisoft strives to protect your Personal Information, it cannot guarantee that your Personal Information is absolutely secure because there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond Modisoft’s control. Third Party Products

Modisoft partners with third parties to provide specific services, products, offers, and promotions to customers (collectively, “Third Party Products”). When a user signs up for Third Party Products, Modisoft may share names and other contact Personal Information that is necessary for the third party to provide the Third Party Products. These parties may not process or disclose Personal Information except for the purpose of providing Third Party Products. You should expect that your data will be processed under the third party’s privacy policy.

Modisoft may use “cookies” and similar technologies to personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your device.
